Oh lucky lucky you. DH recently bought me the kenwood chef premier and I've been baking and eating loads.

Carrot cake and the mumsnet lemon drizzle cake (marslady recipe I think) have gone down very well.

I delight I making icing as the bowl has a cover that prevents the whole kitchen getting covered in a light dusting of icing sugar

Oh so that's what that cover thingy is for! .

I just keep stroking it.

She has loads of food allergies so baking for her is a nightmare. I will have to get some of that gum stuff in the morning and do her something nice and gluten free.

I'm thinking just some normal fairy cakes as it's just me and ds tonight.

I'm going to email this thread to my mum and tell her she can't possibly love me as much as yours loves you.

She said it was a late birthday present (recently turned 21 30 ), early xmas present.

I nearly knocked her over hugging her so much!

It's too shiny and nice to use. Just put it on the side, lit by a spotlight, and play choral music. Idly dust it with swan feathers when motes of dust dare land on its surface.

It's is brilliant! It has made me a lovely chocolate loaf.

Just waiting for it to cool then I'm going to drown it cream and stuff my face.
