I want to make impressive brownies instead of an actual birthday cake.
Any ideas? Any brilliant but easy recipes?
Thank you!

Thanks, I check that out. Mmm brownies!
Silly question but what kind of tin do I need to use?
I think mine is too small.

I have one of those brownie tins with the insert thing that cuts them for you.

I thought it would be crap but it's brill.

Take ages to clean but worth it to have perfect brownies.

Can't link on my phone but you can get them in argos.

I've made these ones before, can highly recommend

Haven't made them for a while, but if my memory serves me correctly, took a bit longer to bake than suggested.

Oh, should of added...if you do choose to give that recipe a go, you can change the chocolate chunks you put in - all milk, milk and dark, dark and white, all 3...just make sure it adds to 100g and don't chop the chocolate like I did first time round! It was fine, just melted into the batter rather than getting chunks when you bite into it.

Another tip for when adding chopped chocolate or chocolate chips is to dust them in flour before adding them to the batter. Apparently stops them from sinking to the bottom. Don't know if you've heard that one before.

Good luck!
