If I defrost some frozen puff pastry and use some on Thursday, will the rest still be ok to use on Saturday?

TIA.

Sorry, forgot to add that the rest will be defrosted, not frozen....

I would think so - keep it well wrapped and in the fridge - I'd use it if it passed the look/smell/feel test!

Wot doradoo said. I've kept it for at least 2 days before - I tihnk the patry had cracked a little round the edges but was perfectly tasty.

Bloody hell, sorry for all the typos!

PotteringAlong · 16/05/2012 15:21

Yup!

Thank you for your advice! I shall go ahead then!

(I can only get big packs locally, but I can use for two separate things, just not tomorrow as I promised the kids we'd make their own pizzas!)

Discovered that with 'the big shop' I can get smaller packs of fresh puff pastry, with reasonable dates to use sometime in the week. And much cheaper.

So all dilemmas solved!!!
