Garlic cream sauce.

I have some gnocchi that needs to be used up,and I'd like to make a creamy garlic sauce for it,and add some chicken and mushrooms to it.

Does anyone have a recipe for a really good sauce? I usually spend about an hour in the kitchen trying to get the sauce just right,so a recipe would be much appreciated.

I made a mushroom sauce to pour over pan fried chicken, it would probably taste great with garlic added. Would that be of any use?
