I think it would. But I want to make some for my dad. We used to buy Rose's ginger cordial when I was little and his favourite drink was a little of that, topped up with lemonade. I know you can buy ginger cordial if you look around for it, but I thought it might be nice to make him some this Christmas, since I don't think the Rose's is available any more. But I can't find a recipe that seems like the stuff we used to buy.
