Microwaving bacon - anyone tried it?

Anyone tried this?
I've got the builders in and thought I'd treat them, but don't have an working oven at the moment.

I used to do it. Put it on a plate with kitchen roll on top.

I prefer it microwaved to grilled, when it's high speed bacon butties. I don't even bother with the kitchen roll, four rashers on a dinner plate, about a minute, turn over/re-arrange and pour off the liquid, then back in for another 30 seconds. Enough for two butties. I like the bread toasted, I've found that the right time in the microwave is about the length of time the toast needs in the toaster - perfect.

I'm feeling a bit more confident it's not going to be soggy drippy bacon! I had my reservations, so thanks!

builders are very chuffed about the prospect too.
