how do you do your roast parsnips?

making dh a val night meal tonight and have some parsnips and was thinking of roasting them. so looking for some ideas on what everyone else does with theirs.
i have some onions too, will i roast them as well.

Same as roast potatoes, i.e. heat oil in roasting tin in hot oven for 5 mins then chuck in peeled/chopped parsnips and cook for about 30mins.

open freezer
take out bag
put in oven

BINGO!

or......do what lapsedrunner has said then drizzle a bit of honey for last 5 mins.

DP cooks them in the steamer and then roasts them in hot oil in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Par boil for 5 mons then roast tossed in olive oil for about 40 mins. Don't cut too small (I quarter them lengthways) V nice with parmesan sprinkled over before roasting but not with gravey (OMO) Also nice tossed in maple syrup before roasting
