Fish freshness/cooking question

I bought some very fresh fish on SUnday. I want to eat it on wednesday (this was from a market not a supermarket). I am making a fish curry. Would it be better to cook it on Wednesday, or `cook it tuesday while it is fresher for eating the next day. I know fish should be eaten the day it is bought/caught, but the market is only on a sunday.

can you not freeze it now and take it out of the freezer on Wed Morning? that's what I would do.
