Does the canned Carnation Caramel Set?

Making Millionaires shortbread at the weekend. I'm thinking the caramel in the can would be a useful shortcut. Just not sure if it will set a bit or be too gooey when I try to cut into slices.

Anyone tried it for this?

Thanks

I tried using it for the same and it didn't set. Tasted nice, but v sloppy to eat!

Thanks. Will stick to the recipe instead. It's a Mary Berry one and looks delicious.. The caramel sounds easy enough.
