Corned beef hash

My sil made this for us years ago and I loved it. Anyone have a ice recipe? Have no idea where to start..

ok.

boil up enough potatoes to feed your family.

chop up a tin of corn beef into sugar cube size pieces then mash into potato. Dont forget to add salt and pepper.

Fry in butter [gently] a large onion and I always chuck in some mushrooms chopped.

put onions and mushrooms and butter into the potato mix and stir in.

put everything into a roasting dish and cover with grated cheese and cook in med oven until cheese is nice and crispy.

So weird - there's about 5 different ways of having this meal!

Mine is;
Boil potatoes
Open tin of beef,
Mash together with butter, salt and pepper,
Put into a baking dish,
Cover with cheese, bacon or tomatoes,
Bake for half an hour
Enjoy (with ketchup)

I cook an onion and some garlic, add a tin of beans and cubed corned beef and cook down and serve with a baked potato, yum!

I make corned beef hotpot type thing

Basically chopped potatoes, chopped onion and carrots cooked with oxo stock with corned beef added at the end

That's what I did brighthair, with peas and a good dash of Lea and perrins. It was delicious

has anyone tried this with sweet potatoes?

i fry off the onions,mushrooms, add the corned beef and some diced veg then out in a roasting dish and cover with mashed pots and then cook in oven!

Ooooh I haven't had corned beef hash for YEARS! I will definitely be cooking som this week. Thanks for the inspiration!

BTW - I did make it with sweet potoatoes, and while the mixing of the orange sweet potatoes and the purply brown of corned beef did make something that didn't look the most appealing, it tasted fabulous!!!
