Ice cream recipes?

I've just been given an ice cream maker; any recommended recipes - either sweet or savoury?

4 egg yolks
1/2 pt (250ml) both single and double cream
120g castor sugar
Vanilla

Beat the egg yolks with the castor sugar.
Scald the single cream with a vanilla pod, or add vanilla paste/essence to the egg/sugar mix and pour over the egg/sugar, whisking
Allow to cool a little
Whip the double cream, fold in.

Tip into the ice cream maker, plug in, switch on

This recipe works well, if using a manual method, by freezing and then whisking when half-frozen to break up the ice crystals.
