can you overcook hardboiled eggs?

I forgot and left them in for over 30 minutes. It's for tomorrows picnic. Will they still taste the same?

They should be ok. The yolk will have gone grey though, and they won't be as nice.

Well, my DH would eat them, I wouldn't. The yolk goes powdery and crumbly if you leave them cooking for too long.

Yy. Also apparently the protein in eggs becomes very hard to digest when overboiled (not sure if that's true).

They won't taste very nice.

Not fair. I wasn't even mning!
