Baking without an oven!

I love to bake, however I moved house in Jan and the oven here is temperamental to say the least. I haven't yet succeeded in cooking a pizza, I daren't try a cake!
I have friends coming to stay this weekend and really want to bake something, obviously I can't actually bake but does anyone have any ideas for lovely treats that I can make without an oven. I have a hob and a microwave if that's any help.

Microwave cake can be done!

Microwave chocolate pudding is nice - throw in chocolate chunks to the mix and serve with custard.

On the hob - welsh cakes, or other griddle cakes are lovely, as are drop scones/scotch pancakes

I saw a recipe for microwave meringues in an old book recently. cannot imagine what these are like!

Rocky Road - needs hob and fridge.

Oh, yes, fridge cakes are popular. i don't like them v much, but they go down a storm in local cafe.

Chocolate Fridge Cake. Yummy. Just needs microwave or hob for melting purposes. Chocolate cornflake bites ditto.

For savory, an omelette type quiche, done in pan with potato and onion and egg and bacon/pancetta, can't rememer dish name, someone else will) lovely with a fresh salad and a couple of new potatoes.
Mushroom risotto great on hob as is spaghetti carbonara.

Pudding type thing, also chocolate, doesn't Jamie do a gorgeous choc pudding which is basically choc and cream (and egg? not sure) melted together poured into a tiny glasses or teacups then chilled, could serve with syrup snaps (melted syrup and sugar I think, drizzled onto greaseproof paper then chilled and broken into bits),
Most of this can be prepared earlier too Smile
