A question about pastry?

I'm going to make a lamb pie for tea.
Could I make the pastry now so that I can just roll it ready to cook later this evening and if so where should I store it?

Pastry likes cold - so in the fridge I'd say, or my back garden it's bloody freezing!!

Make sure to cover it with clingfilm or old butter wraps so it doesnt dry out tho.

I could just eat pie and chips with gravy!
On a diet though!
