Sandwich filling suggestions please

DS has allergies, so no egg, no dairy (so no cheese), no peanut butter.

Get stuck in a ham/sliced chicken or marmite.

Honey and jam are ok sometimes, but don't really want that for packed lunches. Picnics coming more common here with the onslaught of sunshine.

All suggestions please!

Tuna and cucumber
Tuna and sweetcorn
Chicken and sweetcorn

You could go down a different route all together

Wraps - marmite and ham
- marmite and chicken
- grated carrot and houmous (homemade so you can control the ingredients)

Bread sticks/carrot sticks/cucumber sticks and dips, with sliced ham, antipasti style meats

ds loves corned beef or turkey and cucumber

Jam sandwiches are my favourite. You could vary the flavours. Or use marmalade, like Paddington.
Apple sandwiches?
Beef?
Sausage? Vegetarian sausages?
Home-made stuffing - onion, sausagemeat, herbs, chopped apple or apricot etc?
How about home-made sausage rolls instead of sandwiches?

GruffVoiceDownTheChimney · 22/04/2012 18:45

How about chopped sausage & onion? Sardine paste?

Homemade sausage roll or pasty?

GruffVoiceDownTheChimney · 22/04/2012 18:47

Xposts!

I fancy a beef & horseradish sarnie now!

Smoked salmon & cucumber?
Turkey & cranberry?

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 22/04/2012 18:53

Prawn and avacado
Crabsticks
Roasted veggies
BLT

GruffVoiceDownTheChimney · 22/04/2012 22:40

Falafels?

Fishfingers, lettuce, mayo in a pitta

dictionarydiva · 22/04/2012 22:47

Crabstick, cream cheese and lettuce. Delicious!

dictionarydiva · 22/04/2012 22:48

Sorry just remembered no dairy. Something non dairy but creamy would work though.

Yawner247 · 22/04/2012 22:50

I'm with gruff falafel and roasted veg with humous excuse the spellings I'm having a spoonish day!

trixymalixy · 22/04/2012 22:58

DS has the same allergies, so we have a similar problem, but he's also allergic to chickpeas so no humous or falafels.

We buy the mayola egg free Mayo, which opens up more options.

Chicken and sweetcorn
Tuna and sweetcorn
Smoked salmon with tofutti cream cheese
Pate(from the coop with no dairy or egg)
Bacon lettuce and tomato
Prawn Marie Rose
Corned beef and pickle
Baked bean toastie(not in a lunch box obviously, but at home at the weekend)
