I feel a need to have a Nigella book in my kitchen. I love her food and her over the topness about the joys of cooking. But which one to get - I want one that is as family friendly as possible, with really good meals that we can all eat together (DCs aged six and four, and DH and I) ... Suggestions v welcome as to which one is best! There are so many to choose from ...

That would be like asking to choose between my sons!! All have much in common but are different.

Anway - HTE - is the first and well read through but no pics and the indexing is not that great - but it is great and if you like her style its good to both read / get ideas for menus and actual recipes.

Have all of them and even a signed copy / special edition of Express.

Would never give away a Nigella book but I found a paperback HTE in Oxfam last week and wanted to buy it and give it to someone!

Had an home help from France one year and we gave her a copy of HTBADG as a leaving pressie as she liked the book so much. Still have a few more recipes to try out from them all. Smile
