Oops, have stored freezer fish in fridge. Can I still use it?

Food delivery on Monday. Got two beautiful fish lovely things, and thought that they were store in fridge ones. Just got them out now for cooking purposes and they should have been stored in the freezer. Are they safe to cook? Argh!

I would have a sniff first, but reckon they will be ok - just adjust the cooking time to allow for the defrost.

Thank you. It's the Grown up Date Night meal, so don't want to poison us (and they look so yummy rubbed with lime, coriander, olives and chilli, yum yum yum!!!!), but don't want to give us scrambled egg either!
