I have some left over from making coleslaw but have thrown the wrapper away and want to cook it for a roast!!

Shred, add salt and pepper, nob of butter and a little water and steam.

Boil for a few minutes - just to soften slightly. Drain well. Add seasoning, a sprinkle of vinegar and a knob of butter.

With cooked cabbage, mix with some finely chopped onion, mashed potato and seasoning. Form into patty shapes and fry to make Bubble 'n Squeak, so called because of the noise it makes while cooking it...
