How long would it take to cook brown basmati rice?

Any ideas? The packet says "Cook until tender", gee thanks.

about 30mins. Just wash in cold water, cover in boiling water and then cook until the holes appear in the rice. Don't stir!

DON'T STIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's why rice gets all sticky.

and simmer don't boil ferociously, it breaks down the starch apparantely!

It only took 20 mins in the end. It was well nice. I only stirred once, it would just feel wrong not to
