Easy and quick way to cook red cabbage please ?

I've only ever done stuff with port for christmas and I have one in my veg box .... TIA !

Shred and steam with apple. Before service melt a knob of butter in it and season.

Or just shred and steam on its own.

One or two depending on the size.

Try Asian-style coleslaw with carrots and red cabbage with ginger and sesame dressing. Or just use it in a stir fry.

ok - thanks for that, as it turns out dh is only just about to get home from work so can't be ar$ed to faff around with a cabbage now so broc and spinach it is. But thanks v. much for the ideas - will use hopefully before it goes off !!
