Our toasters on it's last legs and we're a bit skint. Anyone recommend a decent one that's quite cheap?

Got mine from Tesco about 18 months ago, cost me about £7.00 It's still going strong.

We have a breville one about £12 from Asda-does the job.

There are plenty at argos, the website has reviews too so you can get lots of POV.

Thanks. The last one was from The Big W. it lasted fairly well but now you have to have the dial almost all the way around or you just get warm bread.

Yup, buy the cheapest you can find. We have just replaced ours ,but as it was coop's cheapest when i went to university (18 years ago..) and i lived on toast, it did sterling service!

Have just replaced my £7 toaster from Tesco, which broke after 5 years faithful service, with a £15 toaster from tesco. I thought I'd shell out the extra £8 for a four slice toaster instead of a 2 slice this time.
