Easter Sunday Lunch pudding ideas please......

I am cooking a 24 hr roast pork with bread/potatoes and salad. I am stuck on pudding.

For tea, I am baking an iced lemon curd layer cake, so don't want a lamony pud, or a cakey one.

Any suggestions please? Its for 6 adults and 2 children ( although I expect the DC will just want their Easter eggs...... )

I was going to say Nigella's Almond and Orange Blossom cake, which is what I always serve this time of year and goes down well, but guess that is both cakey and citrus-y! Bakewell tart? Summer pudding? Rhubarb meringue pie (or anything with rhubarb considering it's just about coming in now).

Bakwell Tart an excellent idea, thank you

If you're not serving apple sauce with the pork, what about something "appley" to complement your main course? Something simple like apple pie or apple crumble - or a pastry base filled with apples and topped with crumble if you want it to be a bit more special.

Something chocolatey. Nigella has a divine chocolate mousse recipe that is very very easy to make , too.

Bread and butter pudding made with hot cross buns.

Choc mousse?
Dash of alcohol for the adults.

Fig and chocolate tart?

Bread and butter pudding!

We are having butterscotch tart, how about a hot cross bun bread and butter pudding.

The DC aren't keen on b and b pudding. Thanks for all your lovely ideas, I think we will go with a Bakewell tart. Smile

There will be Easter Eggs kicking about for anyone needing a chocolate fix.
