prepared (beef) mince to make meatballs yesterday morning (eggs, breadcrumbs, parmesan etc) then covered the bowl & put it in the fridge. I didn't get round do forming the meatballs until late last night by which time a lot of the mixture had gone brown. Am I right in thinking that this is normal when mince/meat has been left standing? I've frozen them now AAAAGH CRAP I've just remembered the meat had already been frozen & defrosted and I didn't have time to cook them last night so froze them raw. They'll have to go in the bin
what a waste of time! so much for being organised grrr
