Hi there,

i have a cauliflower to use and need some inspiration!

Fancy doing a bake type thing (preferably without pre cooking cauliflower). got tinned tomatoes, cheese, cream, mustard, curry powders etc Any ideas please?

Many thanks,

Liz

There's a good one under 'recipes' for cauli cheese. The second one, 9.8 points, not the one for 10 points as this one is for weaning.

I would pre-cook the cauli, at least just steam it a little first - it will be horrid in a bake if it is still crunchy.

Line the bottom of the dish with sliced tomatoes, they go really well. Add the soft cauli broken inot florets. Pour over a really rich cheese sauce with mature cheddar and add a spoon of mustard (or nutmeg or sage go well with cauli). Top with grated parmesan and crushed ready salted crisps.

Mmmmmm
