Great Restaurant in the London Bridge area

Hello Ladies

DP and I off to meet family this weekend in the London Bridge area, and then all off to the theatre.

Can anyone recommend a restaurant to eat at with lovely food.

Where do you go?

We seem to end at the 'Chop House' restaurant each time.

All suggestions will be much appreciated.

Magdalen, if you're there on the Sat - I'm not sure they open on Sun.

Not fancy food, but the Strada on the river (about 10 min walk from London Bridge station) has stunning views of Tower Bridge, especially at night. I used to live nearby and my parents always enjoyed going there.

Roast? Lovely, for the carnivores.
Black and Blue, another meat establishment, bit cheaper than Roast.

Zucca is amazing! One of my favourite restaurants. It is really good value too

Smart and towards high end - Vinopolis in the streets around Borough Market.
Fish! in Borough market
Roast in Borough market
tapas Brindisi, ditto

Tas on Borough High St - nice Turkish place, good value
