put in chicken and veg with stock that's all, and it tastes horrible.

Herbs and seasoning.

Add an onion (sliced/diced)
add herbs, maybe taragon or sage.
Or you could put balls of stuffing in with it.

Pepper, and plenty of onion and garlic.

If not for children, a good pinch of salt.

That's what I forgot, the seasoning! Will add some so should taste better for everyone tomorrow! not got any frsh herbs in though... And stuffing balls great idea. DSs will love that tomorrow. Thnank!
