rice cooker

Doea anyone use them and how does the rice come out?
I have a tefal 3 in one rice cooker/slowcooker thing and it is very convenient as keeps rice hot but the rice is always "sticky" and often crusty on the bottom.
I use basmati rice and wash it beforehand.
Is this how it should be or is my rice cooker duff?

I add a bit of oil when cooking, also experiment with how much water you put in.
