Electric rice cooker - can I do anything exciting with it?

Dh bought a cheap electric rice cooker and promptly lost the instrucions and measure before I even saw them! It's great for cooking rice (obviously!) but can I cook anything more exciting in it? Not sure what really, just thought someone might have tried....

My sister uses hers to make cakes - not sure how or why though

buy a good thermometer, and with some attention and patience you have a very cheap and very effective home sous vide machine on your hands, you lucky thing.

I use mine for steaming the Christmas puddings. Tbh, I found that rice used to stick in it, so haven't used it for cooking rice.
