Dahl where have you been all my life?

I love you dahl!!! Made my first ever lentil dahl today, did it in the slow cooker, I used a fat free vegan recipe and wasn't expecting anything great but WOW I loved it!! Now how can something so easy to make and delicious escape my radar?

MamaLou I do it with either plain basmati rice, or I use a Schwartz spice mix called Pilau Rice Seasoning, you just put one teaspoon per portion of rice into the water before you put the rice in to cook, it's lovely.

I have told DP we're having dahl tomorrow :)

This dahl is very simply but just delicious.
