Am making this for dinner tonight, what could I add to it to give a bit more flavour, not a herby kind of buyer but just something simple.

Any ideas gratefully received

How about a dash of Worcester Sauce?

Yummy

brown sauce?

crazydazy · 01/02/2006 13:26

What other dishes can you use Worcester sauce for? Would like to use it regularly if I buy some iyswim? Forgive me but I am useless at cooking but DP said he really fancied a corn beef stew tonight and the last time I made one it was bland.

spag bol mmmmmmm

You can put Worcester sauce in anything made with beef, you only need a little bit so don't go overboard or it'll taste horrible.

I put it in spag bol, chilli, beef stew, shepherds pie, anything along those lines really. It's also lovely sprinkled on cheese on toast if you put it on top of the cheese before you put it under the grill.
