It was either Good Housekeeping or Woman & Home, but not might be! Smile I left the mag on the train.

The recipe was a four ingredient chocolate cake made with nutella (decorated with mini eggs). I think I can remember the 4 ingredients (would be a bit lame if I couldn't remember FOUR ingredients wouldn't it!), but not the quantities.
Can anyone help please? ta

hang on ... found the page crumpled up at the bottom of my handbag!
get a load of this ....

Cheats Chocolate Cake
400g Nutella
3 med eggs
125g SR flour
200g full fat cream cheese

  • mix two thirds of the nutella, eggs and flour together
  • put into a lined 8in tin and bake for 35 - 40 min at 180 degrees
  • when cooled completley, mix together the remaining nutella and cream cheese for icing

does that sounds lush or what!?

Glad you found it.

No it doesn't sound lush. But then I don't like chocolate.

Heres a great recipe a 3 ingredient fruit cake, 1 packet of dryed mixed fruit, half a pint of fruit juice, s/r flour, soak the fruit in the fruit juice[enough to cover the fruit] over night, then add enough s/r flour to make a thickish consistency, now line a baking tin or loaf tin and bake for 45 minutes on 170/ gas mark 3. then leave to cool and slice and spread with butter if prefered.

Just baking the cheats choc cake from good housekeeping mag, with paula saying it was dissapointing, i've added cocoa powder and some milk plus baking powder, looking good but i'll report back after the essential tasting!
