Calling all slow cooker experts! Will this be cooked?

Put chicken casserole on at 12.35 on high for an hour. Put it on low at 1.35.
Then dh phones to say hes going to be early and can we ave n early tea so at 3.30 i put it bavk on high.
We want yo eat it at 5pm, will it be cooked?

I should think so. Did you use a whole chicken, or pieces? And did you brown off the meat / vet first and heat the liquid?

Chicken casserole would normally be 7-8 hours on low or 4 on high. I think it would need a bit longer on high.

You could always scoop it out into an oven dish, and stick it in the regular oven for 45 mins.

I browned the meat, its thighs and drumsticks.
