How to feed daughter when feeling so rubbish

Hi All

Feeling thoroughly sorry for myself as the morning sickness has kicked in and I feel awful.

I have to feed DD shortly and I am worried her dinner will make me feel even more sick. I have not been physically sick but the nausia is so bad I feel like passing out. I cant seem to eat anything myself.

Any advice appreciated

How old is she?

Beabea · 30/01/2006 12:27

16months and only eats ham and soya cheese as finger food. She needs to have one main meal.

Poor you! Must be awful. Do you have any ginger tea or similar? (for you obv, not DD!).

Could you do her something quite bland, like a jacket potato and something, which isn't going to smell too much?

I could but she is off lots of food at the moment. DH made her some soup which she loves but you can guess how it makes me feel.

I might save it for my mum to give her tomorow.

Can you not just buy her some ready-made meals from the supermarket so you don't have to cook as such? I know it's probably not that healthy, but just to get you through ? Pasta and pesto? That's pretty bland?

As she is dairy intolerant that cuts out all ready made meals. They all have dairy or hidden milk products in them. I checked some more earlier in the supermarket.

I have put on a baked potato and will make them into wedges. Will serve with the ham and soya cheese. I hope she will eat them.

Soup my mum can give her tomorow.

I have just eaten cottage cheese on crispbread - it was quite nice
