i have a tin of pilchards in tomato sauce and a tin of sardines in tomato sauce.what do i do with them????my nan used to rave about them on toast but I've not a clue,do i warm them or have them cold.
help

My DP makes toasties with them (and sometimes some cheese). Or he lightly toasts the bread, spreads the fish on, a little grated cheese, then chucks it under the grill to warm/melt the cheese.

mash them up and stir them into hot, cooked rice with some grated cheese. My DCs favourite lunch.
