Meat/fish dishes for a Mezze

I'm trying to put together a mezze menu but I'm struggling with the meat part - loads of ideas of the veggie/bread/dips/salads etc so I can swap those around to work with the textures of the meat dish.

Any suggestions/favourites?

Meatballs?
Satay sticks? But not greek at all, so not really mezze.
Shell-on prawns in garlic butter, messy though.

Ooh, mini kebabs!

Crispy goujons of fish with some kind of dipping sauce?

Thanks HR. Lamb Kebabs would be good but it would need a good sauce to lift it - something exotic and definately something Middle Eastern. I'm not a meat eater, so matching meaty flavours is a struggle. I have a feeling the meat with be the dullest dish and I'd really like it to hold its own.

You could do a tzatzki (spelling!) with lamb.

Squid rings, prawns.

I cook a Lebanese dish that I once cut out of the observer a few years ago. It is really easy you just fry lamb mine with a generous sprinkle of cinnamon then add a good squeeze of tomato purée (prob about a tbsp) and stir through with lots of toasted pine nuts and rocket. It is good either in filo pastry and baked in the oven or in mini pittas.

lamb kofta
cook them into a tomato sauce with some chilli and cinnamon
serve in pittas with tzatziki
