DS was 2 in January. I was wondering whether it is now safe for him to have some honey now and again.

I let ds2 have it on toast. He'll be 2 in 2 weeks

Yes - you aren't meant to give when they are under 1

Yes its 1 year olds as they have problems fighting off botulism bacteria. Even so, its very rare, so it doesnt mean you'll put your child in danger. I didnt know about this on DS1 - he had it and survived!!!
