A Chicken question!

I have 2 whole chickens for roast dinner today. I would like to cook them this morning and re-heat this evening for dinner, is this allowed?

Chicken background- chicken number 1 was bought fresh on Friday, chicken number 2 was bought fresh, frozen 2 weeks ago, has been defrosting in the fridge since yesterday morning.

Is this all ok for re-heating later? If so, once i have cooked them this morning i should then keep them in the fridge shouldn't i? (covered, top shelf away from anything raw)?

For re-heating, how long do you think it would take in the oven to cook the 2 birds and at what heat?

Thank-you :)

Reheated chicken is vile - cold with hot gravy is the way to go. HTH Grin

In your position, I would slice the chicken I intend to use and reheat by steaming, otherwise it will be dry and unpleasant.
