Ok, DS1 really wanted to make them. We made them. They're dreadful. Here is the recipe. Is muesli flakes, oatmeal? Or have I misunderstood?

Bizarrely, both DS1 and DS2 really liked them. They don't even really taste sweet, and the texture is dreadful.

i would take muesli flakes to be whole oats...

Yeah, that's what I used. Well, oat flakes, anyway.

Museli is a cereal onto it's own, it is a bit like oatmeal, but is different--I think it might even have raisins in the mix. I think it is swedish.

Hmm, in the UK muesli seems to mean "granola". Yeah, it's often a mix, with raisins etc. Made out of oatmeal (I should know, I make my own these days!) It just seemed weird for a recipe to say "muesli flakes" as an ingredient. I will ask an aussie friend, I guess.
