Freezing pate

I bought some very bargainous pate last week, but knew I was only going to eat a bit, so chucked the rest in the freezer.

Will it kill us?

My perspective is, whilst it didn't say 'suitable for home freezing' it didn't say 'Not Suitable' which things like prawns say when they already have been.

I'm not pregnant or nuffin. Any ideas?

I think it'll be OK if it was nice and fresh when it went in. Don't keep it for too long because fat doesn't freeze particularly well, pate is mostly fat and it can dry out if you're not careful.

Hi,

When we were in France last summer we bought loads of pate to bring home and put it in the freezer. We just ate teh last of it at Christmas and it was just as lovely as when it was fresh.

Freeze it, it's totally fine!
