Yeast free birthday cake

Ok I have been volunteered to make the yeast free birthday cake for the birthday girl (40). Looking for recipes I've got myself all of a tizz about yeast. Is it in flour, do I have to make flourless? Help please before I go demented, I really dont want to get it wrong and spoil her party.

I don't know any cakes with yeast in- that's what you put in bread and buns to make them rise. It is separate to flour. So any normal cake recipe will be fine.

Thank you thank you thank you. I was getting in a right old flap and couldnt think straight. Of course it didnt help that I've left it quite late to start thinking about all this.
