I know it is a bit early but last year we did sweet pancakes for pudding and DD loved them. We thought we'd branch out this year and maybe have savoury ones too.. Any ideas on fillings/ recipes that go down wellin your house? DD is 2 btw...

Spinach and mushrooms in a cheesy creamy sauce.... yum :)

Do you just make the pancakes like usual and then just pour your sauce over? Sry if stupid question!!!

Yep, try not to make the sauce too runny, or it all pours out. Just bung it in the middle and fold/roll up

We used to make pancakes like usual and add stir fried veg (from a supermarket packet with beansprouts etc.) and grated cheddar. YUM Grin
Some of the pork eaters would add shredded sliced ham to theirs as well (student house - we had lots of pancake parties).

DP also does a great fried-gently-until-soft-and-crispy peppers, mushroom filling, with grated cheese added as it goes in and fresh parsley on top.

Yes, spinach in cheese sauce spread on the pancake, all wrapped around a sausage. Mushrooms in sauce also good. We do a wholemeal savoury pancake that is tasty and a bit firmer than the sweet ones.

I add ham, cheese and tomato to the "uncooked" side then flash under the grill.
Bananas and grated chocolate for pud.

Fill a pancake with a Bolognese type sauce and roll up. Continue to do this with about a dozen more pancakes, layering them in a lasagne dish.

Pour over a cheese sauce and bake til golden and bubbling.

Cheese and (cooked) mushroom, yum yum yum!
