I am sure I seen it on here Maybe not.
I have pork Loin Chops and wanted to cook them in slow cooker with cider - would that turn out ok?

I don't know that particular recipe, but loin chops have quite lean meat, so they may get very dry with slow cooking.

usually it is best to use meat with some fat within the muscle to keep it moist.

No doubt lots of people do cook loin chops in the slow cooker and don't mind though!

I would prefer them done in a moderate oven personally.

Cider gravy might work?

OK I won' do them in the slow cooker. I maybe imagined that recipe, and it was maybe for a different cut of pork altogether Hmm

We often cook pulled pork in the slowcooker - tenderloin, bbq sauce, onion, garlic, slow cook - and it doesn't go overly dry at all, it's nice, with the even more fat of the regular loin on the chops I'm not sure it would go excessively dry unless you like your meat very fatty.

I'd say slow cooked pork in the cider would work pretty well, can't see why not. go for it?

Pork chops are gorgeous in the slow cooker they melt in your mouth!

Yes there is a recipe but I just do onions, cider or apple juice - not much, don't even cover the meat, chopped up apples, bit of whole grain mustard, tint bit of balsamic vinegar if you have it...... er I think that's it!

Don't forget a bay leaf or a sprig of rosemary.
