How does it work? The only time ive tried it the bones went to mush and the whole thing was slimy and yuck.

just put it in and turn it on (I do mine upside down, though yesterday I put it in a bit late and so put it on high - and the breast ended up stuck to the bottom)
Have to get rid of the skin, but as don't eat it anyway that isn't a problem, but the flesh is lovely and moist, definitely not slimy and yuck.

Do the bones go all bendy? When I did mine the bones went soft so soft you could pull them apart.

I don't actually know (I don't eat the bones :))
I did one yesterday, then put the carcass back in and cooked it overnight to get stock, and I don't think that made the bones bendy either.

I don't eat them either but they were falling apart when I cut the meat off! The meat went all jelly'y when it went cold cos all the gelatine from the bones must have been in it!

Sounds yuck, mine def don't go like that.
