can i give dd milk as a drink

i know all the books say not to before a year (dd is 9 months) but today i went through and dd was playing tea parties with the 2 girls i look after and the older 1 had gone and got her milk and put it in dd bottle and i saw it disapear before my eyes. she loved it. was wandering if i could give her the reccomended amount of formula and milk as well

You could fall into the trap of giving too much milk then and she might end up not eating food. I personally would wait till one year. Best not to rush a baby through stages.

be warey.... cows milk should not be used as a main drink before 1 year because of the sodium content...

a bit here and there will do no harm, but really dont use it as the main drink.... or AS WELL as formular cause then she wont want her food!

she gets her bottle before we go to work at 7 then she has breakfast at 9.30 and a small drink after then lunch at 1.30 then a drink, small snack at about 3 after sleep small bottle then her tea at about 5.30 drink of juice then at 7.30 bottle in cot

the only juice she likes is fresh apple diluted
