"imfe"?

ladymuck · 23/01/2006 16:33

ds2 demanded this earlier today but I was mean - I boiled them. He still ate them.

As an aside I've just asked him whether he wanted boiled egg or scrambled egg for tea. He asked for "girl egg mummy, not boy egg". Time to get his ears cleaned out again I think.

Enid · 23/01/2006 16:33

I used to put them on dd2s highchair tray

kept her occupied for ages

Enid · 23/01/2006 16:33

'in my fishy experience'

GDG · 23/01/2006 16:33

still frozen??

give them cooked but not frozen!

kids love em

'green drops' here in their frozen state (a la Charlie and Lola)

Gizmo · 23/01/2006 16:35

DS loves them frozen or cooked - he thinks of them as tiny green lollies I think.

But then, he is vegetable-loving-freak-boy...

Dinosaur · 23/01/2006 16:35

Doh! Of course!

QE2 · 23/01/2006 16:36

Won't it make them sick frozen.....says naive QE........??

what about frozen bread?

dd loves this. do wonder about whether that's doing any good though. oh well

Blu · 23/01/2006 16:52

No, DS loves them cooked

But frozen Blueberries are fab. They are very affordable in plastic bags in Sainsbury's , and are a superfood. (DS won't eat them - I do).

Gingerbear · 23/01/2006 16:53

I like chomping frozen prawns

I like to laugh in the face of food poisoning.....

Mummyvicky · 23/01/2006 16:59

Yes and frozen grapes....yum!!

Nbg · 23/01/2006 16:59

my little wierdos like to eat frozen alphabites, I tried to swap it for frozen organic chips, but there was no way.. not sure if it qualifies for a smiley face on the eating chart tho!!

Kelly1978 · 23/01/2006 17:21

My ds liked frozen ffingers. I had to put a lock on the kitchen.

CountessDracula · 23/01/2006 17:22

Oh yes I love them and so does dd.

I often have a cup of them as a snack

FrenchGirl · 23/01/2006 17:43

mmmmmm
time to leave MN I think
they're all mad

Possibly brought on by eating frozen food in the first place?

Read 'imfe' as 'in my f*cking experience' which I thought was odd

hana · 23/01/2006 17:47

the dds also gt littel tapas bowls of veg - in an effort to eat more veg
buys me more time in kitchen to get their supper ready!

Mercy · 23/01/2006 17:48

Yes, mine like them semi-frozen too. I recently got ds (23 months) to 'cook' some in his saucepan and he scoffed the lot at dinner time

uwila · 23/01/2006 18:25

The strange things I learn on mumsnet... this is up there with the peeling mushrooms thread.

Never thought of eating them frozen. Might try it though.

hana · 23/01/2006 18:40

frozen grapes and orange segments are v v nice
but not for the kids, for me mmmmm
