What about:

for romantic Valentines dinner

2x chicken legs (uncooked)
0.5 glass of white wine
2 -3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp double cream
small bunch fresh tarragon/1 tbsp dried tarragon

  1. Heat oven to 180c (don't know alternatives). Put chicken legs in ovenproof dish and run with bit of olive oil. Add wine and bashed garlic cloves (ie just hit em don't chop/crush)
  2. Cook for 45 mins uncovered
  3. Check chicken is cooked and pour off the wine/juices into a pan and add chopped tarragon. Boil rapidly so it reduces in volume (about 50%). Turn heat down under pan and add cream and heat gently. Pour over chicken legs.

DH usually does this with potato wedges (Scrub potatoes, cut into 6ths lengthways so you get wedge shapes, sprinkle with olive oil so they're glistening and then roast with the chicken) and a green salad.

I love this.
