Accidentally froze and burst an egg - can I still use it?!

One of my precious home hen laid eggs was accidentally left outside last night and not surprisingly it has burst!

Can it still be used, or does it need to be binned?

You probably think I'm mad worrying about one egg, but they are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, girls using energy to keep warm rather than lay eggs, so every one is precious and means I can avoid having to buy them (on principle!)

TIA

I wouldn't use it unless it's for something that you're going to cook for a long time.
I like my eggs runny and would be worried about eating it. I cannot actually say why though. Confused
So, I'm sure it probably would be fine as long as you don't let it defrost for days in a warm room or something..

I think you are probably right - probably best not to, just in case. Just I hate breaking or losing our home reared eggs!!!! And DH had even said last night "there's an egg by the gate, mustn't forget it as it will freeze". And yes, we forgot!

Never mind.
