I want to make a popping candy borthday cake or pile of cup cakes. can anyone point me to a good recipe? Popping candy can be in the icing / topping rather than in the cake itself. Saw Heston's popping candy cake recipe on telly last week but taht's slightly too gateaux-y / dinner partyish. Just a cake will do!
