Please help.

Emptying my freezer and have found two oven ready partridge I bought to have over Xmas. Completely forgot about them.

Do I just roast them? How long for? What temp?

They're small do cant take long?

Off the top of my head I'd weigh it and cook per lb like chicken. A quick web search reveals www.waitrose.com/home/recipes/recipe_directory/r/roast_partridge_with_cranberry_and_red_wine_gravy.html

I'd say about 40 mins at 170 C.

Perhaps put a couple of streaky bacon rashers over the top to stop it drying out.

You've probably done this already but if old and tough I'd casserole them with red wine or pomegranate juice, if not I'd roast them with a couple of slices of bacon over the breasts and a dob of butter inside because like all small game birds they can dry out.

If casseroled then an alternative to potatoes is rice
