Veal

What can I make with a slice of veal for DS? I have defrosted it and am sitting here looking at it.

I generally breadcrumb it but really can't be bothered to start faffing about with eggs and stale bread.

just slice in thin stripes and panfry with onions, mushrooms, cream

Hmmm. I have some puff pastry in the fridge...wondering if I can do something with that...

Veal cut in strips in savoury sauce with mushrooms. Cut puff pastry into rectangle and cut a smaller rectangle to half the depth of the pastry. Cook pastry, cut out lid, remove any undercooked pastry from inside. Fill with veal sauce mixture, and put lid back - bit like a big vol au vent. Add green veg or salad.
